4. Marketing & Tracking Cookies

⚠️ Updated in June 2026 to comply with Google’s new requirements (effective June 15, 2026)

Marketing cookies are used to track visitors across different websites. The goal is to display ads that are relevant to the user and therefore more valuable to advertisers. YouTube cookies are placed through embedded videos, such as the company videos on our services pages.

Iris uses Google Ads and Google Analytics for advertising purposes. When you consent to marketing and tracking cookies (via ad_storage in our Consent Mode), the following processing activities may take place:

  • Display targeted ads based on your interests and your behavior on our website.
  • Measuring the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns and optimizing our website and ads.
  • Link your website activity to your personal Google account, provided you are currently signed in to Google. Google uses this link to build audiences, improve bidding strategies, and track conversions.

You can view, edit, or have Google delete the data it has collected about you in this context at any time via Google’s “My Activity”:

Starting June 15, 2026, data usage controls on Google will be separated by destination: data used in Google Ads will be controlled exclusively by Ads Consent Mode (ad_storage setting). Your consent selection in our cookie banner determines this.
