What are your responsibilities?

As Sustainable Procurement Manager, you play a key role within the Iris Group. You will define and implement a responsible, innovative procurement policy that is fully in line with our values, while supervising the activities of Fleet & Facility.
Your goal: optimize economic performance with maximum integration of environmental, social and societal challenges. You will be responsible for the following tasks: 

Policy & Culture

  • Define and implement a responsible purchasing policy in line with the group's values and RSE strategy
  • Coordinate and negotiate contracts around mobility, energy, building investments, waste management and general group purchases
  • Consolidate and strengthen sustainability policies with focus on economic efficiency, sustainability and social impact :
    • Preparation and monitoring of the group's carbon footprint (scopes 1, 2 and 3)
    • Perform competitive, regulatory and standards monitoring (ISO 14001, CO₂ Performance Ladder, Ecovadis, etc.)
    • Sensitize teams and act as internal ambassador of the sustainability policy
    • Support operational teams in purchasing decisions in line with RSE objectives
  • Develop a responsible purchasing charter for suppliers and partners

Operational

  • Supervise the Fleet & Facility department
  • Preparation of purchase reports and formulation of strategic recommendations
  • Preparation and follow-up of budgets (investments, maintenance, energy, fleet, etc.)
  • Monitor compliance with legal and environmental standards and follow up on audits
  • Implement a policy of continuous improvement and anticipate market trends
  • Coordinate and lead various projects around acquisitions and operations

People Management

  • Build, coach and motivate a high-performing team
  • Guiding employees in their development and developing talents
  • Individual follow-up and strengthen team collaboration

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate efficiently with internal departments and external partners
  • Building and strengthening a sustainable ecosystem with consultants, experts and suppliers

Your talents and background

  • You have a higher education degree (or equivalent through experience), preferably supplemented by training in sustainable procurement or RSE
  • You have 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar position
  • You have mastered MS Office and specific tools for purchasing and supply chain management
  • You are perfectly bilingual (FR/NL) and have a good knowledge of English, both oral and written
  • You know the market and actively follow trends around sustainability
  • You have strong negotiation skills, project management and change management experience
